Hello, World — the blog moved to Hugo

This is the first post on the new version of the blog.

For a long time, kazarin.online ran on WordPress. It’s convenient at the start, but eventually you end up paying for hosting, updating plugins, and thinking about infrastructure instead of writing.

Moving to Hugo solves this cleanly: static site, hosted on Cloudflare Pages, source in git. No databases, no plugin vulnerabilities, pages load instantly.

What will change

• Three languages: Russian, English, Spanish
• New posts will be translated automatically
• The old WordPress archive will be migrated as-is
• Content from the Telegram channel is also planned for import

What stays the same

Same topics: DevOps, SRE, engineering team management, IT education.
